Learning AUTOCAD 2013: teaches AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT essentials to new users with concise explanations, step-by-step instructions, and the engaging hands-on tutorial projects.The opening chapters introduce readers to the AutoCAD interface, basic commands, and creating drawings. The middle chapters build upon the basics and introduce more advanced features and skills, such as grouping, elevations, hatches, and using text in drawings. The final chapters round out a beginner's skill set by introducing dimensioning, external references and layouts.

Course Objective
To provide AutoCAD users an understanding of the software's core functionality and features so that they can create, edit, document and present their first drawing. Users should have a solid grounding in the software so that they can immediately be productive using AutoCAD.
