- Business Development Manager (IT / Software Industry)
- Proactively develop and manage channel partners to grow and develop business relationship and business opportunities
- Engage directly with assigned named accounts/ industries
- Projection of sales targets and action plans to achieve targets
- Recommend and execute joint activities with channel partners in support of business/ sales/ marketing objectives and targets
- Manage enquiries, feedback and any other sales/ operational issues
- Min. diploma / degree holders with 2-3 years' IT sales/ similar experience selling CAD software into the Architecture/ Construction & Building/ Interior design/ Engineering/ Government sectors, etc
- Candidates with channel sales experience would be an advantage
- Aggressive, result-oriented and a good track record of meeting sales target and objectives
- Team player, well-organized in work and can multi-task under work pressure and challenges
- Able to prioritize work activities and work under minimum supervision
- Possess initiatives and enthusiasm for work
- Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking)
- Outspoken, sociable, enjoying meeting new people and cultivating business relationships and rapport
- Ability to do public speaking to present solutions and proposals
- Self motivated, positive disposition, driven and customer service orientated
- Presales Solution Engineer / Manager
- Gather and assess customer needs, both business and technical; works with customer IT and LOB owners to develop an accurate understanding of business needs and related issues
- Apprehend requirements during the pre-sales stage and interpret technical requirements and business needs into a solution
- Engage in any client meetings to discuss technical aspects of the solution and make recommendations to enhance/progress the solution
- Build strong professional relationship with key IT/Ops and LOB executives
- Identify overlooked opportunities suggested by technical expertise
- Work with the partner project team to construct a project plan that accelerates revenues and deliver short-term benefits
- Assume as a technical lead on an assigned products – provide technical direction and mentoring for all assigned products
- Manage a number of concurrent customer requirements providing a balanced assignment to each project – working simultaneously in pre and post sales situations
- Be a contributor to the creation of best practices through the identification of reusable project-level assets
- Any other duties as and when assigned
- Diploma or Degree in IT or related field of studies
- Preferably with at least 2-3 years' experience in presales or technical selling
- Excellent presentation/communication skills (written and verbal)
- Well-versed and familiar with IT project tender & proposal process
- Candidates with the necessary experience can be considered for senior level position
